Karimoku Furniture is proud to sponsor the “Living Modernity” exhibition at The National Art Center, Tokyo, and will showcase the Karimoku Case NF Collection in the “Living Modernity Today” exhibit.
This exhibition re-examines the innovative attempts that began in the 20th century to revolutionize housing, from seven perspectives that characterize the modern house: hygiene, materials, windows, kitchens, furnishings, media, and landscapes.
Inspired by the Case Study Houses of the 1940s, Karimoku Case collaborates with architects and interior designers to propose furniture that enhances contemporary lifestyles, designed with a holistic, spatial approach.
We invite you to experience the NF Collection, a line of wooden furniture designed by the architectural maestro Sir Norman Foster for his private residence. It’s a collection that embodies the exquisite balance of organic forms and ergonomics, where the beauty of artisanal craftsmanship harmonizes with the potential of cutting-edge production technology.
