The shape of the N-PL01 | Pendant Lamp mimics the high and triangular shaped roof construction of the Archipelago House on the Swedish coast. The bottom of the lamp has been covered with a single piece of Washi paper, which is cleverly held in place by a few magnets, making it easy to disassemble, should you need to change the bulb. The bottom furthermore acts as a screen, hiding the light source and creating a warm and indirect light that is diffused not only down but also to the sides.

The Archipelago House Collection has its native setting in summer house located on the unspoiled and rocky coast of Sweden. The summer house is modernized holiday home embracing all aspects of family life.
Norm Architects designed the house with a focus on using and embracing natural materials, muted colors and clean lines - striving to create a minimal, yet well welcoming and curated interior. All of which has been combined with high quality craftsmanship and beautiful handmade pieces to make up the third collection of Karimoku Case.

Norm Architects was founded in 2008. The multidisciplinary design studio works within the fields of industrial design, residential architecture, commercial interiors, photography and art direction. Much like human well-being, the essence of Norm Architects’ work is found in balance — between richness and restraint, order and complexity.
Each project — whether in architecture, interiors, design or creative direction — is imbued with the same intrinsic quality: a simplicity that carries bigger ideas. Guided by the body and mind rather than by trends or technology, their projects explore ideas that not only look good, but feel good too: Architecture be- comes thoughtful, minimalism acquires softness and visual matter assumes haptic qualities.
